The datasets contains monthly Leica LS15 precise levelling data which is used to measure monthly peat surface motion from 49 points in 1km2 of upland (RSPB Forsinard Knockfin Heights) and 49 points in a 1km2 of lowland (Plantlife Munsary) blanket peatland within the Flow Country, Caithness and Sutherland. Data was obtained between August 2017 and February 2019 covering the 2018 European Drought Event. Also included are loop closures and measurement standard deviation data. This model code for object oriented data analysis of surface motion time series in peatland landscapes provides the procedure to assess peatland condition using object oriented data analysis. The model code assesses peatland condition according to which cluster each surface motion time series is assigned, based on key measures capturing differences between the time series.
